Now the English are stalking him, his crew is verging on mutiny and Stede has disappeared.
When Stede reappears with a new plan wanting Blackbeard's help conning the English, Blackbeard senses trouble. It seems like Stede has joined up with the English to turn him over to the King. Blackbeard is about to take the biggest risk of all—and find out the true meaning of trust and betrayal.
