Notes: Written for theunconventionalcourtship 2021 challenge. Based on the summary of the novel "Rome's Revenge" (2001) by Sara Craven. This has turned out to be just a first chapter, the story got away from me; I shall hopefully add a more to it soon. I also appreciate this is a really niche, rare AU pairing, I think I'm the only person writing it at the moment that I can find. I have to stress it's a ship based on and inspired by the characters in the movie "Elizabeth", a piece of historical fiction, and the ship has nothing to do with the actual history that the film is based on. It is written as a modern AU.
