Notes: The moment I read this summary I knew I wanted to set it in a Sentinel/Guide 'verse. I've substituted the Regency period for a Contemporary one, but I tried to stay true to the spirit of the prompt.
My prompt was No Conventional Miss by Eleanor Webster.
Rodney McKay is an unlikely debutant. He favours fact over fashion, cares not for 'proper' conversation and is haunted by ghostly visions which could land him in the madhouse! Marriage is definitely the last thing on Rodney's mind...
But when he's caught in a compromising position with Viscount John Sheppard suddenly he finds himself betrothed! And, worse, Sheppard's powerful presence only increases his visions. By shedding light on the Viscount's past, can Rodney gain his trust and win him round his more ... unconventional traits?
Summary: John's whacked-out senses have plagued him all his life. Despite that John is supposed to talk Dr. Rodney McKay into working for Sheppard Industries.
Instead, he has to save Rodney from being kidnapped, accidentally marries him, and discovers that Rodney's strange visions just might be what he needs to save himself.
