Some banners with which to pimp the com

If you have Photoshop, you can also easily make your own! I've uploaded the bases for my mutilated M&B covers here. Just download and put the photo of your choice on the bottom layer (I added more yellow and more red in Image>Variations, but you don't have to). And/or you can send me a link to a picture and I'm very happy to mock up whatever.

Please do pimp the com, if you can. Particularly in places (Tumblr and Twitter) or fandoms that I'm not active on/in. I want to bring in as many people as possible for only thus will as much exciting, different and excellent stuff be produced as is possible.

ahhaha - i'm sure the leela/andred shippers will come a running!

also the jeeves and wooster one is (and both S&S ones - i did think perhaps i should include threesomes - but it'd be difficult to do with the M&B format) particularly amazing - it fits very well in a silly way.

are you interested in throwing these around the relevant coms or should i do something modly with myself?

okeydokey - i'm a member of the s&s com, so i can post one of yours there (did you see amaresu chose to use the silver one for her f-list post?). and i could probably find a jooster com around somewhere (it is apparently indeedsir, so.. there we go. i'll put that one up there!).

resistance is not as much fun. (the motto of M&B heroines everywhere, surely).

also - the sign ups will never end! which means you'll never be free. so, you know, you can sign up whenever/if you break. and if you do - that'd be awesome.

I'm finding making the banners worryingly amusing.

thanks for the banners, and i love the mini-fic! there. it works really well as an interpretation of the prompt and as a fic in its own right, which is surely the best kind. and it's really cute, which is also a good thing :D

again - these work really well! there is a definitely mills and boon-yness about them - particularly the bottom half.

although i am pretty sure you did the primeval one before (Because it looks a lot like amy/rory and i was convinced for ages that it was), and perhaps even the shadow of the tower on - because i recognise it... ;) but if they are no longer lost, that is good!

as for signing up - maybe dont do it until you have an idea and you've already written most of the fic :) that worked well for you last time.

:loL: You are right, of course, except last time I had an idea by about halfway down the list and signed up for the first day because it was already done by now.

And I thought I'd done the Primeval one before. I don't remember doing Shadow of the Tower, so it might be my icon I have of that/similar screencap. Or maybe I did one. I just thought I put all the really obscure ones on my Tumblr, and that definitely would count as obscure. (Whereas I didn't put the Primeval or Spooks ones on there.)

I made this one to promote the comm. on Tumblr today. Spent way too much time figuring out how, and didn't even mean for this ship to be the first one I finished, but it ended up working with the least fussing. (After I'd fussed forever with the others and -had- to finish something so I could give up for awhile.)
